Ozone Therapy Clinical Trial against COVID-19 in India

The Spanish Ozone Therapy Society SEOT informs us of another study carried out using ozone therapy as a therapeutic tool in the fight against coronavirus, in this case in India. The Indian Ozone Forum, the Lokmanya Medical Research Centre, the Cancer Treatment Research Centre and the Indian Academy of Scientific Research have taken part in the study.
Several countries have already conducted or are currently conducting studies on the subject, including Spain, Italy and China.
The 60 patients were divided into two groups, the first group of 30 patients who received rectal insufflation of ozone and minor autohaemotherapy along with standard treatment. The second group received only the standard treatment for COVID-19.
After several days of treatment, the first group showed a clear clinical improvement compared to the other group that did not receive ozone therapy treatments. It was therefore concluded that ozone therapy treatment can improve clinical status and rapidly reduce viral load.
In Spain, several public and private hospitals are already using ozone therapy as a compassionate treatment.

Ozone therapy treatments are carried out with medical ozone generators such as the SEDECAL medical equipment of which KeyBiological is distributor. This equipment has various accessories for the performance of major and minor autohaemotherapy, rectal insufflation, saline ozonisation, etc…
